The Knovel University Challenge Returns!

Knovel University Challenge kicks off its spring 2007 season on February 5th and will run through April 5th. The University Challenge provides students the opportunity to master their research and analysis skills while competing for 9 prizes. This year's winners will receive a $1500 scholarship or 1 of 8 iPod Shuffles. The University Challenge, now in its third season, is open to students of hard sciences, mathematics and technology-related courses of study at universities with access to Knovel Library or Knovel K-Essentials.

Knovel to release titles from the European Federation of Corrosion (EFC)

In February Knovel will be adding 29 titles from the EFC to the Knovel Library Metals & Metallurgy Subject Area. Founded in 1955, the EFC aims to advance the science of corrosion and the protection of materials by promoting co-operation in Europe and collaboration internationally.

Knovel Forms Content Partnership with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)

Knovel and the (AIAA), the world’s premier resource for aerospace information, have announced a new content partnership. The addition of AIAA's distinguished aerospace science content will expand Knovel's offering that covers Radar and Systems Engineering to include topics such as Aeroacoustics and Space Logistics.

Knovel Forms Content Partnership with the National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements (NCRP)

Knovel and NCRP, a leading resource for research on radiation application, standards and regulation, exposure, and protection guidelines, have announced a new content partnership. Radiation study is integral to developments in Aerospace and Defense, Electronics, Medicine and Medical Engineering, Public Safety and Industrial Hygiene, and Waste Management. Through this exclusive content-sharing agreement, researchers will be able to search, analyze and manipulate data within NCRP's highly regarded reports and publications on Knovel.

Knovel and The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) have just signed an agreement to launch the new ASC e-Library powered by Knovel. In early 2007, ASC members can expect to have access to 27 prime electronic references, including several interactive texts and tables, providing new ways to quickly find and apply critical information.
