Attending soccer games in Upstate New York in October is beautiful. The fall foliage explodes with color, the sky is blue, and the temperatures are cool. It seems that fall is also a season for romance. While attending a recent soccer game at SUNY Broome Community College, K-Bear was smitten by BCC's official mascot, the Hornet. He's been talking of nothing else since!

Some people have expressed concern that "K-Bear has gone missing." Worry no more! K-Bear was recently spotted hard at work in the laboratory at BAE Systems in Minneapolis. It's rumored that he's aiming for a Nobel Prize!

While recently attending the Alberta Library Conference, K-Bear took a break to enjoy the breathtaking view at Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada. K-Bear is pictured relaxing on the edge of Lac Beauvert at the Jasper Park Lodge.

K-Bear recently visited the beaches near Manuel Antonio National Park in Costa Rica. After studying the white-faced monkeys, sloths, orange kneed crabs, and lizards, he decided to climb the rocks and enjoy the exotic view of Ojaculla Island, a bird sanctuary.

K-Bear recently had a fabulous holiday in Krakow, Poland--the capital of Poland until the 17th century and one of the few Polish cities to survive World War II nearly intact. While there, K-Bear visited the breath-taking Wawel Royal Castle.

K-Bear took to the skies over Arizona in an F-16 Fighting Falcon. This was K-Bear's first time in an F-16, and he happily reports no adverse reaction to G forces. All stuffing is still intact. ;-)

The sales team from Knovel's distribution partner in the Slovak Republic, Albertina icome Bratislava (AiB), recently invited K-Bear for a trip to one of the country's most famous historical places, the Devin Castle ruins near Bratislava. Perched aboard a ship, K-Bear viewed the castle walls and towers which rise on a rock overlooking the confluence of the rivers Danube and Morava.
